The young can’t wait to leave and explore a new world. They are fearless, maybe because of little awareness of what life’s joy or pain will deliver to the soul.

On the other hand, the seasoned contemplates a lot more, weighs out pros and cons based on past memories and experience of life’s joy and pain. Weighs out what is important and at the end of the day, what matters most.

The young is able to flip so easily back into the unknown and discomfort. For the seasoned, it is harder.

The young says, it is only a matter of getting used to. The seasoned says, is it worth getting used to.

The young fears not knowing what is out there to be learnt and discovered, fears not knowing what to do with one’s life.

The seasoned may fear missing home most. Because this type of pain brings tears to to the eyes quite immediately, this type of pain stabs at the heart so much so that it physically hurts there.

It is not so bad dear seasoned, you can always go home. Be fearless now, there is so much out there. Don’t forget you were once the young too. You can be that again:)
